Award Complements Rapidly Expanding Kashoo Customer Base, Boom in Kashoo iPad App Downloads, and Steady Widespread International Adoption

Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) June 19, 2012 — Kashoo (https://kashoo.com), makers of simple cloud accounting software for freelancers, startups, small businesses, and accountants and bookkeepers, took home the “Most Promising Startup” award at last week’s Technology Impact Awards, hosted by the British Columbia Technology Industry Association (BCTIA). Founded in 1994 by the BCTIA, the Technology Impact Awards celebrate the successes of the local technology industry and the companies, people and innovation that continue to put British Columbia on the map.

“We like to think of winning this award as a reflection of the entire Vancouver tech community,” said Kashoo CEO Jim Secord. “From the BCTIA and its mission to grow the region’s industry to the British Columbia Innovation Council and its commitment to developing local entrepreneurial talent to tomorrow’s bootstrappers… it’s an ecosystem that’s growing every day – and we’re proud to be a part of it.”
